Liam Fennessy
Liam is a Solicitor practising in our Family team.
Liam qualified as a Solicitor in March 2023. Liam joined Preston Redman in 2018 as a legal secretary and completed his training contract with the firm.
Liam can advise in relation to:
- Divorce / dissolution of civil partnerships
- Financial settlements through contested court proceedings/arbitration
- Financial settlements through agreed consent orders/mediation
- Pre and post-nuptial agreements
- Cohabitation agreements for unmarried couples
- Property disputes for unmarried couples (TOLATA disputes)
- Children issues
Liam has a particular interest in financial disclosure issues that may arise during financial settlements, including the involvement of cryptocurrency as an asset available for distribution.
Liam holds a degree in Law from Bournemouth University, and completed his Legal Practice Certificate and Masters in Law with the University of Law. As part of his undergraduate degree he undertook a sandwich year placement in a boutique matrimonial finance practice in Brighton.
Outside of work Liam enjoys cooking, cycling, collecting vinyl records and watching live music.
